We offer a range of exciting workshops for all ages. These are fully linked to the National Curriculum and cover History, STEM subjects, Citizenship and Geography.
Book a free workshop at any time by completing our online booking form.
We have a number of facilities available to help make your visit easier.
Workshops are taught in our brand-new Foyle Centre, a dedicated learning space at the heart of the museum. It features two classroom spaces and a lunch room.
All schools, whether they are taking part in a workshop or coming for a self-guided visit, can use the lunch room in the Foyle Centre for eating packed lunches and storing bags.
We also have a Group Entrance for schools. This leads directly to the Foyle Centre to make your arrival easier.
The new museum has completely changed from before the closure period. Even if you have visited us before, we strongly recommend a preliminary visit so you can familiarise yourself with the new galleries and layout, as well as to help inform your planning and risk assessment.
If you would like to meet our Learning team during your preliminary visit, send an email to learning@nam.ac.uk.
