Beyond Burma: Sensory Tour

People feeling the textures of items in the handling collection
Explore our forthcoming exhibition ‘Beyond Burma: Forgotten Armies’ through a sensory tour guided by our Community Engagement Team.

Gain an understanding of operations in Burma during the Second World War through a combination of vivid descriptions and tactile experiences, along with sounds and smells that bring to life the stories of the Museum’s collections.

This is an opportunity to explore the exhibition primarily through touch and description. We welcome those who would particularly benefit from this approach, such as visitors who are blind, partially sighted or who have complex support needs.
