Jason joined the Royal Marine Commandos at 16. He served for 10 years, after which he passed the gruelling selection process for the Special Forces. During his time in the Special Boat Service, he planned, led and participated in a range of operations, including hostage rescue, counter-terrorism and surveillance missions.
Gordon Smart is a seasoned broadcaster, former journalist and editor of The Scottish Sun. There will be a chance for the audience to ask questions at the end.

This is Britain’s maritime special forces unit. Since the Second World War, its highly trained men have served around the world, on land and at sea, often carrying out daring undercover raids and engaging in marine counter-terrorism.
