Annual Director’s Showcase

A Members and Patrons event at the National Army Museum
Members and Patrons are invited to our first Annual Director’s Showcase revealing upcoming exhibitions, research and projects from across the National Army Museum.

This special event for our supporters will be a chance to get a behind-the-scenes perspective on the latest work and research of the National Army Museum.

There will be a mix of talks and displays showcasing the breadth of work from across a variety of departments including Archives, Learning, Curatorial, Exhibitions and Research, along with our Research Fellows. There will also be opportunities to meet and speak with those working on these projects.

This exclusive afternoon will see a series of talks on the latest in military history research from both our Research Fellows and the Research department, as well as a preview talk around our upcoming exhibitions, ‘Myth and Reality: Military Art in the Age of Queen Victoria’ and ‘Beyond Burma’.

Alongside these special talks, our Archives team will be showcasing the breadth of the archive of the Museum, alongside some recent acquisitions including the FANY (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry) and Army Football Association archive. There will also be opportunities to see the institutional archive, giving a chance to explore the history of the Museum itself.

All of this will be accompanied with a complimentary glass of wine, giving a unique opportunity for you to enjoy the Museum that you so generously support.
