Walking Tour: Queer Chelsea

Explore the fascinating history of the queer community in Chelsea with expert guide Dan de la Motte.
Chelsea is often seen as a hub for bohemian artists, intellectuals and counter culturalists, but it was also a hub for the queer community. From the famed lesbian establishment the Gateways club to the residence of Oscar Wilde, this tour will explore the lives of the queer people who made Chelsea their home and help show how this community has defined the Chelsea we know today.
The tour starts at the National Army Museum and lasts around 90 minutes.
This event is delivered in partnership with the Chelsea Heritage Quarter.
